How long does it take to get ataxia tests results back?

How long is a piece of string? It depends on what tests you have had, and where/who performed them. It took slightly more than a year before I got a general diagnosis, having already worked out for myself what was wrong, seeing an innaffectual "specialist",and insisting on seeing another.

I know for me I lived with an "Unknown SCA" for years. I'm not sure how your system works - here, once the results are in then the doctor has to make an appointment - since they are usually specialists it can be weeks or even months before you can get in to find out.
