Hi guys,
[this](http://istoe.com.br/yoshinori-ohsumi-de-desempregado-a-nobel-de-medicina/) article is written in portuguese, I’m sorry about it.
It depicts the life of Yoshinori Ohsumi, who won this year’s Noble Prize in Medicine for discovering a drug that is currently being tested in human beings in Israel that is a concrete hope for cure for MJD (Machado Joseph disease) or Ataxia SCA3.
I think his work was already mentioned here in this forum at [this](http://forum.livingwithataxia.org/t/bioblast-pharma-announces-positive-in-vivo-preclinical-proof-of-concept-results-of-its-cabaletta-platform-in-spinocerebellar-ataxia-type-3-sca3/2699) topic.
This is great news for all of us, also for others, because his research is going to help finding drugs for cancer, Parking and other diseases.
