Due to strides in research more people are able to receive diagnosis at an early age. It’s often been the norm for middle age to be reached before symptoms of ataxia have been recognized, and doctors decide to investigate.

There’s an obvious need for young people to be able to interact separately 🙂 Not only to chat about their condition, but to communicate with others who are coping with similar challenges on a social level, with education and employment.

If this applies to you, see the headings bar and click on GROUPS. Look for ’ diagnosed early with ataxia’.
