When did you get it?

When were you diagnosed?

Larger the gap the better?

Hi Bernard, I'm 58 years young, diagnosed about 8 1/2 years ago with sporadic cerebellar ataxia (non-hereditary/unknown cause). I believe I had small symptoms in my 40's though, as I can think back to times when things were "not right", although not bad enough to see my doctor. When I started having trouble swallowing and going down stairs, I still waited a year before I finally thought I should see my doctor. The rest is history..., ;o)
