2011 NAF Research Drive

Help NAF Reach The Macklin Foundation’s $100,000 Matching Grant Challenge
The 2011 National Ataxia Foundation (NAF) Annual Ataxia Research Drive kicked off in October with the exciting news about The Gordon and Marilyn Macklin Foundation’s most generous matching gift opportunity. The “Macklin Foundation Matching Grant” will match up to $100,000 of research donations received now through December 15, 2011. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar through the generosity of The Gordon and Marilyn Macklin Foundation.
Thank you to all who have given so generously in order to help meet this dollar goal. We have not yet reached the $100,000 challenge and we need your help today. With this opportunity to have your research donation matched, there has never been a better time to support the important research efforts of the NAF.
The number of research applications received this year has more than doubled over last year’s requests. Many of the nearly 90 high quality and promising ataxia research proposals from 13 countries are deserving of your financial support. Please consider doubling last year’s research gift amount.
Time is running out…the last day of the matching grant is December 15, 2011. Please make your research contribution today in order for the NAF to reach the $100,000 research match. You may make a secure on-line donation at https://www.ataxia.org/giving/contribute.aspx?action=contribute.
Thanks to you and The Gordon and Marilyn Macklin Foundation, NAF will be able to fund more promising ataxia research this year to help find answers to end ataxia.
Wishing you a safe and memorable Thanksgiving spent with family and friends. Thank you!
