An initiative to alleviate the pains of ataxia!

Dear All,

I joined this community "livingwithataxia" about a month back to become a part of the ataxia community on behalf of my father, who was an ataxia patient himself. This was in an effort to let larger number of people be aware of this disorder so that patients when affected are not taken by surprise and shock. The biggest relief to a patient is to know that he is not alone suffering. I realized that this was one of the things that perturbed my father, whom I lost a few days back in a heart attack. I want to create a page or a discussion forum through facebook where members can continuously discuss their problems and latest developments and learn from each other. I would even want to share the story of my father if it helps anyone as a guide.

I lost my dad, however, I am still determined to do this since I want to benefit anyone who is suffering with the disorder that took toll on my father's life. I began doing this as part of one of my projects at my MBA school but this now means much more than that to me.
