Patient, carers, health professionals come together with designers and developers to solve problems in health and social care.
This weekend (25-26th January) over 100 'geeks who love the NHS' will come together in Cardiff University's Hadyn Ellis Building to find tech solutions to the problems facing the patients and staff of the NHS.
What will happen?
NHS Hack Days NHS Hack Days were born out of frustration with the implementation of technology in the health service. They are non-profit events which bring together people who have problems and those who want to solve them. Patients, health professionals, designers and developers work together intensively over 2 days to understand what needs to be done and then build a rapid prototype to do it. No one is paid to attend an NHS Hack Day.
