Reading, Writing, and Listening
Cambridge, Massachusetts is known to be a vibrant center of higher learning, and now researchers there are learning from living textbooks: patients. Scientists in Pfizer’s Rare Disease Research Unit launched the inaugural “Pfizer Rare Diseases Community Conversations” series, which focuses on personal stories of those living with Friedrich’s Ataxia (a rare neuro-muscular disorder). With every story shared, our scientists are further inspired and energized as they seek cures for one or more of these rare diseases.
Just ask Pfizer colleague Mathew Pletcher, “There is nothing more motivating than to hear from the people we’re working to help. The personal stories are amazing.”
