Cambridge, Massachusetts is known to be a vibrant center of higher learning, and now researchers there are learning from living textbooks: patients. Scientists in Pfizer’s Rare Disease Research Unit launched the inaugural “Pfizer Rare Diseases Community Conversations” series, which focuses on personal stories of those living with Friedrich’s Ataxia (a rare neuro-muscular disorder). With every story shared, our scientists are further inspired and energized as they seek cures for one or more of these rare diseases.
