It seems there are 2 theories now. 1. Decreased production of NAD+ in the mitochondria by the mutant genes. 2 . Increased production of Glutamate in the nerve endings by the mutant genes. Whatever the mutant genes do, I am interested in the the result of stem cell re injection to modify the mutant genes. Because that’s the only cure.
