Does anyone know the end result of this debate?

I hope this answers your question.

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well and strong

As I know Lincoln had another condition not Ataxia. He had a Marfen Syndrome,

Marfan syndrome is a disorder of connective tissue, the tissue that strengthens the body's structures.

Disorders of connective tissue affect the skeletal system, cardiovascular system, eyes, and skin.

People with Marfan syndrome are usually tall with long, thin arms and legs and spider-like fingers -- called arachnodactyly. When they stretch out their arms, the length of their arms is greater than their height

He died I think, happy to help !

Seriously though, how would we know now, with him living so long ago, was Ataxia known about that long ago, I doubt it

Yes I believe he did, not really sure of the type though (maybe SCA5) some people that are related to him are still alive and I think they also have Ataxia!!

Ah I see, makes sense

Please read the link (this debate) in my first post. The reason why I took this up is as stated on the blog writing: "If Abraham Lincoln were found to have carried the mutation, it would help increase awareness of this devastating disorder." I totally agree....
