I received my saliva testing for DNA from Ancestry.com. I am 95% Eastern European. My Neurologist said there was a huge incest problem there many years ago. My Cerebellar Ataxia skips a generation, so this may be where my Ataxia comes from. VERY INTERESTING…
Interesting, but slightly disturbing!
My Ataxia is Recessive, it’s passed on by carriers of a mutant gene. It doesn’t effect every generation, and is dependant on the remote chance that two carriers will get together and reproduce. I’m very sceptical about his comment, hinting at the cause
