Very interesting article! It makes a great deal of sense. From a personal point of view I can tell you when I was severely, chronically anemic I was also stupid. I had brain fog often and was often unable to make even simply connections between things easily. It makes sense that too much iron would have impact as well.

At one time, my Mother was said to be suffering from lack of Iron. Then after treatment she had too much, so it must be a fine line…
My Neurologist always checks that my iron level is correct, not too low
