Thank you Jeanie.. I will certainly try dandelion tea.
For me, fatigue is a major part of my ataxia and juggling exercise, domestic chores and getting outside is very difficult.
Adrenaline is great of course but there is always the 'drop' !!
I cant use caffeine as it causes bladder urgency. The only option is too pace myself.
xx
The thyroid/sea salt thing is of special interest to me. Thank you.
I also heard of oat straw extract helping to fight fatigue - have you heard of this?
Hi All,

I haven't heard of Oat straw extract before. I'll have to investigate that and find out more information about it. Thanks!

Fatigue is a major part of my ataxia also. Bummer isn't it? I can handle walking strange and the other things but being tired all the time gets old, or should I saw it did along time ago. I'm trying to attack this as natural as I can but I'm almost wiling to do anything about it now! :0)
Hope the tea helps you.

I'm glad you posted this here. I went GF in 2007 and it's helped allot. My thought is every bit I can do to help myself add up. Even though in itself it's not a cure. What ever works right? :0)
I was tested and told I wasn't gluten intolerant but follow going GF anyway. My Dr. said it's like having a guarantee that I will absorb all my vit and minerals from what I eat and since I closely monitor what I eat I want to absorb everything I can so it's not a waist.

Thanks for the info., Jeannie! Fatigue is a common thread with ataxia! ;o)
Yes! I have a ton of it so anything I can find that might help I'll try. Well almost anything within reason that's more natural! :0)
Thanks Jeannie for posting this. I have Sensory Ataxia and I find fatigue a big thing (mind you I am 83) - my Ataxia only started 6 years ago.
Cheers for now,
Doug Smith, Bristol, England
I hope you find something that can help. I know it's definitely not fun to have to say the least. Please let us know. :0)
