This webinar will provide a brief history of what we’ve learned about disaster preparedness as it relates to people with disabilities, from the World Trade Center to Hurricane Sandy. You’ll also learn who does what when an emergency strikes, from government agencies to local emergency management personnel to non-profit organizations in your community. We’ll take a look at what works and what doesn’t, things you can do to help prepare for your needs and how we can all work together to make things better.
Throughout the webinar, surveys will be conducted with the results discussed throughout the presentation. You won’t want to miss this lively and engaging presentation.
