What it does not say is that people who are participants usually have to meet strict entrance criteria,I.e. be pretty healthy. That is because if a person experiences an “adverse consequence” (if we die) they want to know what caused it. Also, they want the highest probability that the trial will succeed because of the investment. I am all for research. I just posted this because I want to be sure we know what we are getting into when we volunteer or interpret research results.
When it comes to Clinical Trials for SCA, there are strict criteria to adhere to, it’s not just a case of ‘all come all served’. xB
