What it does not say is that people who are participants usually have to meet strict entrance criteria,I.e. be pretty healthy. That is because if a person experiences an âadverse consequenceâ (if we die) they want to know what caused it. Also, they want the highest probability that the trial will succeed because of the investment. I am all for research. I just posted this because I want to be sure we know what we are getting into when we volunteer or interpret research results.
