Whoops! Oh for steady fingers!
The type of epilepsy I have is Grand Mal.
In the past I used to have three of these in one day and completely ‘lost’ the day.
Luckily it didn’t happen too often - 1- 3 times annually. I have never driven due to this.
These now seem to have disappeared. Now I get occcasional absences of some kind - just loose it for a while but no-one has witnessed these episodes.
I’m convinced they are due to stress in my life.
Take care
I had a DeJa Vu 3wks ago…
One minute I was standing facing the kitchen sink, then I was aware of the ‘recall’….then nothing more until I was walking unsteadily to sit down.
My husband came into the room and found me dazed with a gaping head wound. I have no recollection how this occurred…if I’d fallen I wouldn’t have been able to get up unaided. The best I can come up with is…somehow I banged my head on the edge of the kitchen worktop…there was a lot of blood on the floor beside the sink. Luckily…the wound was on the side of my head near the crown. I’ve had delayed concussion but a CT scan confirmed no internal bleed.
I used to experience a lot of ‘brain fog’…not so much lately, but this morning it’s back xx
Hi Beryl
I’m so sorry to hear that. I think it must be the same as I get occasionally. Do hope you’ll soon be feeling- 'clearer ’
It is certainly a horrible feeling
Take care x
