If you would like to learn more about the role of clinical research in the NHS, the National Institute of Health and the University of Leeds (UK) have launched a free 4 week online course titled ‘Improve Healthcare through Clinical Research’.
This begins on Monday 2 November 2015. The course is aimed at anyone interested in the topic, and no previous experience is necessary.

AtaxiaUK has jointly funded a new SCA14 study with the German charity DHAG. The research aims to find a way of accurately measuring the antitoxant Glutathione which is thought to be linked with SCA14. The study will be carried out by Dr Sarah Doss and Dr Jan Rinnenthal at the Charite’ - University Medicine Berlin.
