TED Junkie

I’m a bit of a TED junkie, and I especially thought that this video was poignant in that we sometimes allow others to define us.

Enjoy!

I am not worried so much about the loss of mobility. It's my speech I mourn. Thanks for the inspiring video though.

I could identify with the loss of freedom but she is so positive it puts my mind at rest.

I had not heard of 'TED' before. I'm so pleased that you have introduced us! I've added it to my 'favourites'. What an inspirational site. Now, back to deep sea diving in a wheelchair - I take my hat off to Sue Austin, it backs up the theory that it's not what happens in life that's important - but what we DO when it happens. Hope you agree.

Hi Marie- I understand about the importance of speech. There are more and more advances which is exciting.

Hi Dory - I found it completely inspirational and outside-of-the-box. Yes, I totally agree that it’s not the dozen of eggs, but it’s how you decide to prepare and spice them that counts.
