The future?

Unfortunately not everything suits everyone, and it’s mostly a case of trial and error, I’m prescribed medication myself but don’t notice any great difference in the symptom it’s supposed to help. Keep in touch with your Neurologist, he or she is best placed to prescribe any change.

I’m sorry to hear the meds don’t work! Just got back from the ER, another fall w/stiches… If I could only have my balance back.

Has anyone had lots of falls?

Because of frequent falls, I have started to use a rollator in the house.

Sorry to hear the news… What do people do to cope?

:slightly_smiling_face: We’ve just moved house, the main reason being stairs were becoming increasingly difficult for us both, so we’ve moved to a bungalow. It’s very early days ( we moved a few days ago) but I’m feeling much worse re balance etc. …the stress of the move hasn’t helped. I feel thoroughly disorientated with the new surroundings, although it’s a blessing not having steep stairs to negotiate, I hope the situation improves as I become familiar with our new home :slightly_smiling_face:

Beryl, I hope you get acclimatized to your new bungalow soon!

Has there been any improvement? It’s been a while.

:slightly_smiling_face: Yes…we’ve been here over 18mths now

We still need to tarmac the front drive and create a patio at the rear

Internally…on reflection serious thought should have been given at the planning stage …about built-in cupboards and storage.

:slightly_smiling_face: But…it’s cosy and low maintenance
