Many people ask me what does it feel like when I walk sometimes, unaided !!..The following is a very 'tongue in cheek' explanation....
Firstly strap a heavy 10lb sack of potatoes around my neck..Now put on a pair of heavy magnetic boots so as to simulate the 'Gravity' of Jupitor as opposed to Earth..Get my drift??
After I manage to trudge my way down the hall-way I'm then faced with looking down a 100ft cliff (back-stairs) to be overwhelmed with a rush of vertigo..
That's enough for now.I find the nearest chair,rollator.what ever!!Wait till my heart-rate,breathing,dizzyness settles and sigh WT?.....
For those of you now in wheel-chairs and soon to be myself,let's always hope for that elusive cure..
