A simple swallowing tool I learned: the tried and true chin tuck

Hello, I just wanted to share this easy (and free!) way to help for those who may have swallowing issues, particularly with liquids: take a small sip/bite, tuck your chin into your chest and swallow. This was recommended to me when I had my swallowing evaluation done. This exercise opens up your throat muscles more efficiently.

I don’t like the taste of water so last year I started drinking flavored water. It is just water with a drop or like cherry, lemon, etc. flavoring. It helps me get the liquid I need. I drink Propel now, but they have lots of kinds.
