My niece turns 18 years old in April and she wants to start driving. No one else in our family as FA so we don't know how to find out any informations on her driving and can she drive etc.Any information or websites etc would be great.

Ataxia is one of the conditions you have to notify the DVLA about. Your niece will see information regarding health conditions when she applies for her provisional license.
This doesn’t automatically exclude her from driving. Usually Neurologists are contacted to confirm condition, any medication etc. It can take time for replies, apply early.
