Because of our physical problems we have to be very aware of our situations at ALL times. Recently I made a sudden quick turn about a month ago and I wound up falling and banging into a wall Fortunately I didn’t break any bones BUT I did cause a lot of pain. My neck hurt like hell and there was severe pain from my elbow area down to my left hand. I’m pretty sure that I also did some irritation to my left Rotator Cuff.
Point being BE VERY AWARE and don’t make any sudden moves BTW, still have some pain.
Hi. Yes I agree with you to be aware of surroundings. I took a spill in June 2025 and was at Urgent Care twice. I seem to fall a lot just trying to sit in a chair or turning around while walking. Please be careful. These falls are scary.
Me too! What I’ve learned is to be especially careful when making turns! Our brains cannot process such a fast sudden movement. In fact, we have to take everything we do slowly! That’s very hard when you used to be an active, multitasking person.
I’ve learned that it’s wise to think things through before doing any automatic movement…..but of course I don’t always remember and usually end up being lucky not to fall. Stay safe.
