I am 79 and have SCA1. My daughter is a licensed PT working at Carlson Therapy in New Milford, CT. I have been seeing her twice a week since I moved from Virginia to Connecticut last June. 2 months ago I could not complete a 10M walking test. Yesterday I completed the 10M walk in 2 minutes (with the aid of a walker). The only change I have made in that time is that I began ingesting 80g daily of trehalose and 500 mg daily of Niagen exactly 2 months ago.
That’s great news @andy37!
Can you elaborate more on how the prescription was done?
What’s this medication for?
Thanks!
