Sleep tips

Good leep is important for a ton of reasons. Your cerebellum regulates your sleep cycle. Since “aquiring” cerebellum damage eight years ago, I’ve struggled with insomnia and chronic fatigue. I’ve tried so may things over the last eight years. While far from “fixed” or “cured” - I’ve only recently experiienced some minor victories and wanted to share my ownn formula for better rest in the event it helps or inspires anyone to keep experimenting. We’re all different and what works for some may not work for all. My daily and nightly ritual for a better night’s sleep…
No caffeine or alcohol after 6pm.
5HTP 2-3 hours before bed.
A warm bath and relaxing breathing techniques.
Valerian Root just before bed.
Wake between 7-8 am (with the sun)

The Valerian Root seems to be key. If I’m struggling, I might add a small dose of melatonin but that sometiimes leaves me groggy in the morning.

Good for you Jay. “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.”

I find magnesium to be helpful for leg cramps at night and sleep.
