Hi all
I was asked by my speech therapist if I would join a group of others who had speech problems.I have been twice now for 2 hour sessions at Salisbury Hospital.I really enjoy it.There are 8 of us;three Parkinsons some strokes and two with MS. I am the youngest as usual but we don't do exercises which would be a waste of time with me but a type of workshop where we share concerns and tips.Yesterday we were talking about volume.Me and the one with MSseem to be worse but ironically I am the most bouncy and vocal.The others are clear but quiet. For our homework we had to record ourselves.It was fun.It was really useful concentrating on volume.
