As I had mentioned in my profile, my brother has sporadic CA and now has had to go on FMLA from his job so he has no income. My question: have any of you applied for and received SSI disability and was it a hassle? I would think, considering my brother's walking, driving, and falling challenges, that he would not be denied. But..... Any input?
I went into the S.S. office. Said I had Ataxia. Filled out all the paperwork. They did it for me since my writing is not good. They contact your doctor and I got it. Its all up to what the doctor says. But I did have to wait 6 months.Which set me back bad, since I am a single mom.
