Many of us contend with eye problems…but not specifically Iritis.
This is inflammation, it can present similar to Conjunctivitis (red eye) but it is very serious and painful. Prednisone calmed the inflammation but I’m left with Uveitis.
I’ve had Iritis myself, and now have to decide whether to have cataract surgery to replace the Lens in one eye, and counteract increasing blurriness. My NeuroOpthamologist advises against it because it may well make the situation considerably worse, as well as causing a flare up of Iritis.
I found specific support groups on Facebook for Iritis/Uveitis…in case anybody else needs info
