Speech app

I found a great app for phone or tablet. I have quite a bit of trouble speaking clearly at times. I found an app called Speech Assistant. It has words and phrases already stored, but you can add your own. The buttons are large enough for easy use. You just pick what you want to say and touch the speaker or display button. It will speak or display a large font. You can type in what you want as well. It isn't the same as talking, but I don't have the fear of not being understood that I had before. I have Android devices, but I'm sure Apple has something similar.

Give it a try. Your spouse can no longer say that he didn't understand what you wanted done on the honey do list. Lol

T H A N K - Y O U ;-)

Thanks

I am glad that you have found this useful - but it would be very useful if you could attach links to the app on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store (if it exists). Many thanks!

Do you have the website? I'd like to try it.

The name of the app is speech assistant. If you search that in the play store you should find it. I don't know about the Apple store.

Let me know if you like it.

Thanks Dee and sunny8088,

May be it's Speech Assistant AAC https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.asoft.speechassistant&hl=en

Best wishes,

Dear Dee, Thank you for the information, as I slur my speech and, at times, am hard to understand! This shakes my confidence to talk at all! Also, it's quite tiring to repeat myself over and over... ;o)

I don't slur,I've gone from rabbiting to quiet in about 3 years.
