U step walker

@Beryl_Park
Yes, that’s probably right. So yesterday I had my jab. It wasn’t ‘local’, so being an obedient sort of bloke (sometimes), I didn’t take my brand new u-step with me. Consequently I nearly fell, cracked my skull in two on the stone ground and would not be around to tell you the tale. :man_cartwheeling:

PS. We still have to laugh at this ataxia thing. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

@seafret I was looking at your profile just now (I usually do to see what people have to say) and was pleasantly surprised that you live in York. I live in Huddersfield but have visited many times. I have a friend who lives in Clifton. Don’t tell me your address as we’re not supposed to - anyone can see whatever we say.

:slightly_smiling_face: Glad to hear you had the vaccine, but sorry to hear about the mishap :woman_facepalming: As it happens today hasn’t been wonderful for me, I went out with old trainers on, and didn’t realise the tread was so worn and slippery :grimacing:
:joy: But, my sense of humour wasn’t dented :wink:

P.S. :thinking: you always PM private info to seafret

Yep I live in the York area, not too close nowadays but at one time I lived in Bishopthorpe …(many years ago).

Acomb is a very pleasant area of York, there are a few shops and other services including a good bus route into the centre of York. In my working days I used to visit Huddersfield and Halifax each week, I always enjoyed my lunch time fish and chips with a helping of tripe…funny how different areas have have variations in eating habits. I find tripe very yummy but it’s a while since I managed to get any, another of my food specialities is pork dripping sandwiches. :smirk:
